Justin has extensive Premier League experience and is just one game away from hitting 100 appearances in the top-flight, having also played on the European and international stage.

Beginning his career with hometown club Luton Town, Justin progressed through the academy into the first team. The 6ft’ full-back showed versatility to play on either side of defence, making him a regular from a young age.

During his early footballing years with the Hatters, James played a major role in back-to-back promotions. Firstly as runners-up in Sky Bet League Two, they went on to be crowned champions of the tier above in the following campaign.

For his efforts, Justin was voted as Luton’s Young Player of the Season, as well as being named in the EFL and PFA Team of the Season. Following this form, plenty of clubs showed interest in his services and he moved to Leicester City in the Premier League.

In his first year in the East Midlands, he helped the side to qualify for Europe by finishing in fifth place, a feat that would be repeated in the following campaign whilst also winning the FA Cup!

During his time at the King Power Stadium, Justin was into double figures for matches in European competitions and added even more experience at the highest level by being called up to represent England, making his debut in 2022.

Showing his leadership skills as well as footballing ability, the defender further complements Farke’s group of players after wearing the captain’s armband with the Foxes.

Everyone at Leeds United would like to welcome James to the club and we now look forward to seeing him in action in our upcoming matches.
