AC Milan attacker Noah Okafor is on his way to England today to sign for Leeds United, according to Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
Leeds have sealed a deal to sign the Switzerland international on a four-year contract, and he is set to join the Elland Road club.
The Whites manager Daniel Farke has been bolstering his squad so far this summer, and they kicked off their return to the Premier League with a 1-0 win over Everton on Monday night.
Okafor is set to become the latest addition at the West Yorkshire club in a €20 million deal, and there is an option to extend his deal by another 12 months.
Leeds are back in action on Saturday with a trip to Emirates Stadium to take on Arsenal, and the Swiss star is expected to be available for selection.
The game against the Gunners will be a tough test for the Whites as the North London club have challenged for the Premier League title in each of the last three seasons.
They secured a 1-0 win against Manchester United at Old Trafford last Sunday and will be desperate to make a statement of intent against Leeds.
Farke can also make a statement by ensuring his team leaves London with a result, and Okafor will be looking forward to making his impact felt if given a chance to make his Premier League debut.
He spent the second half of last season on loan with Napoli, winning the Serie A title with them, and he brings much-needed experience to Leeds.
The versatile attacker will give Farke several options in the attacking third, which makes his imminent signing more exciting to the fans.
Leeds have signed Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Lukas Nmecha, Lucas Perri, Lukas Bijol, Sebastiaan Bornauw, Gabriel Gudmundsson, Anton Stach and Sean Longstaff this summer.
Okafor will be the ninth addition to their first-team but more signings could still be on the way ahead of the final week of the summer transfer window.
