Daniel Farke has handed Facundo Buonanotte, the Brighton & Hove Albion loanee, his first Leeds United start for this afternoon's FA Cup fourth round tie with Birmingham City.

Leeds Live notes the 21-year-old has made two substitute outings in five available matches since arriving, and was omitted for the win over Nottingham Forest.

He looks set to operate in midfield in a four-three-three. Sean Longstaff returns to the XI for the first time since November, with Ao Tanaka also starting.

Brenden Aaronson and Ilia Gruev are among the substitutes. Anton Stach is sidelined with a hip flexor issue, which also rules Pascal Struijk out today.

Lucas Perri returns in goal for his first appearance since losing the number one spot last month. The back four features James Justin and Gabriel Gudmundsson, with Sebastiaan Bornauw and Jaka Bijol in the middle.

Wilfried Gnonto starts on the right after scoring against Derby County. Noah Okafor is on the left, with Lukas Nmecha leading the line, both targeting goals in successive games.

Starting XI, four-three-three: Perri, Justin, Bijol, Bornauw, Gudmundsson, Longstaff, Tanaka, Buonanotte, Gnonto, Nmecha, Okafor.

Bench: Darlow, Bogle, Byram, Rodon, Ampadu, Gruev, Aaronson, Piroe, Calvert-Lewin.
