Daniel Farke makes one change for Leeds United’s final Premier League match before Christmas against Crystal Palace. According to Leeds Live, Brenden Aaronson comes in for Ao Tanaka after the latter’s below-par outing against Brentford.

Ethan Ampadu anchors midfield alongside Anton Stach. Sean Longstaff remains sidelined with a calf issue, though he is stepping up ball work.

With Lukas Nmecha still not fit after a hamstring problem, Noah Okafor partners Dominic Calvert-Lewin up front. Calvert-Lewin has four goals in as many games. It is a third straight start for Okafor, who has not assisted or scored in eight matches.

Wing-backs Gabriel Gudmundsson on the left and Jayden Bogle on the right retain their places, with Gudmundsson seen as having more licence in the new system. Joe Rodon, Jaka Bijol and Pascal Struijk form the back three ahead of Lucas Perri, who is seeking his first clean sheet since August.

Daniel James is also out and is not due back for a while, although he has not needed hamstring surgery.

Starting XI: Perri, Rodon, Bijol, Struijk, Bogle, Stach, Ampadu, Aaronson, Gudmundsson, Calvert-Lewin, Okafor. Bench: Darlow, Byram, Justin, Bornauw, Gruev, Tanaka, Harrison, Gnonto, Piroe.
