Leeds United and Marching Out Together will once again act as an Infrastructure Sponsor for Leeds Pride, continuing their support for the celebratory city event.

Leeds Pride is now in its 29th year and is set to take place on Sunday 20th July 2025 through the city centre.

There were over 80,000 visitors and 167 different organisations in attendance throughout the day in 2024, smashing any previous records, and this year it is set to be bigger and better than ever.

Over the last 20 years, Leeds Pride has become more than just a celebratory event around the LGBTQ+ community, and now it is a testament to the progress and acceptance that has been achieved over the years.

Leeds Pride celebrates the incredible diversity within our city, and acts as a platform for education, highlighting the ongoing fight for equality and inclusion.

Our official LGBTQ+ supporter’s group, Marching Out Together, will be leading our Walking Group on the day, along with representatives from the club and we want to encourage as many supporters as possible to join them on the day and show their support. As always, there will be plenty of Leeds United giveaways, and the chance to win a signed Leeds United home shirt for the 2025/26 Premier League season.

Maz Ferguson, representative from Marching Out Together, said: “It’s fantastic to have Premier League Leeds United sponsoring Leeds Pride again this year. Leeds United is the biggest brand in the city and the impact of its visible support for the LGBTQ+ community can never be overstated. The club’s valuable work was recognised earlier this year when it was given a special award by Football v Homophobia, and the continued sponsorship of Leeds Pride is just one example of that work.

“Usually, the Leeds Pride parade is the biggest public event in the city every year. On this occasion we are happy that the recent Parade of Champions, celebrating our return to the Premier League, will hold that accolade… but last year 80,000 attended Leeds Pride, and it will be brilliant to have members of the club joining us once again, marching through the city centre. We hope as many as possible of you will be able to join us.

“Thanks as always to the club for their incredible support of Marching Out Together and the LGBTQ+ community.”
