Leeds United to close Elland Road West Stand for friendlies with RB Leipzig and Augsburg | OneFootball

Leeds United have confirmed the West Stand and north-west corner of Elland Road will be closed for both home pre-season friendlies, reducing capacity.

Stadium expansion work is under way, with the ticket office and banqueting suite already demolished. A new corridor is being built to give supporters and hospitality guests safe access to West Stand seats when the main season begins.

The club intend to operate at current maximum capacity during the regular campaign, concentrating major works in summer and international breaks. Reduced capacity will apply for RB Leipzig on August 8, 2pm, and FC Augsburg on August 15, 3pm.

Away supporters will be moved from the West Stand for these fixtures, with Leipzig fans in the South Stand and Augsburg fans in East Stand family areas, then returning to their usual section for the season. Children under two will not be admitted. Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult and seated next to them.

Tickets cost £25 for adults, £20 for disabled adults, £10 for under-16s and £15 for concessions, covering seniors 65+, young adults 19-22 and 16-18s. Further details are on the club website.

Sales run in four phases from 10.30am: Phase 1, Monday 20 July, 2026/27 General Admission season ticket holders, with own seats held until midnight on Tuesday 21 July, including those in the West Stand, North West Corner or South Stand Upper areas SS4, SS5, SS6. Phase 2, Wednesday 22 July, for displaced 2026/27 season ticket holders. Phase 3, Thursday 23 July, for 2026/27 My Leeds Members, with Priority Members given 10.30am to 11.30am. Phase 4, Monday 27 July, general sale, subject to availability.
