More than three months after it was announced that his Dortmund contract would not be extended beyond the summer, the 30-year-old remains without a club.

Galatasaray and Atlético Madrid have previously been linked with the former Bayer Leverkusen player.

Brandt has made 383 Bundesliga appearances for Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund, recording 77 goals and 92 assists.
