Leeds United are competing with Fulham and Everton to sign Chelsea winger Tyrique George, TeamTalk reports.

Daniel Farke’s side failed to land Harry Wilson and Facundo Buonanotte late in the summer window. With Dan James sidelined until the end of January and potentially longer, a creative wide player remains on the agenda.

George, an England U21 international, stayed at Stamford Bridge in the summer after almost leaving. He has played only 447 minutes in all competitions this season. Across 36 Chelsea games, he has had a hand in 12 goals.

Fulham sought a £22m deal for George that fell through in the final stages, prompting them to keep Wilson rather than approve his move to Elland Road. Wilson is now their top scorer, while George remains back-up at Chelsea.

Leeds have also been linked with Raheem Sterling. Enzo Maresca said this week that “anything can happen” regarding Sterling in January.
