Chelsea have rejected a Leeds United loan bid for Mykhailo Mudryk, but the pursuit remains active, according to Leedsunited.news.

The 25-year-old winger is available again after close to two years out following a positive test for a banned substance. His suspension has been lifted.

Chelsea have added Morgan Rogers and Geovany Quenda among others this summer, and are open to a loan for Mudryk. Several clubs are in the mix, including Frank Lampard’s Coventry City.

Leeds are still pushing. Mudryk is thought to prefer staying in the Premier League and is open to Elland Road, with talks described as ongoing, but nothing is advanced.

Tottenham could enter if they fail to land Cody Gakpo from Liverpool. That scenario might lead to a reunion with Roberto De Zerbi, who coached Mudryk at Shakhtar Donetsk.

Spurs would allow the Ukrainian to remain in London and close to his parent club, which could appeal. De Zerbi has previously praised him in glowing terms.
