Leeds United are braced for a pivotal summer, with Ethan Ampadu’s future uncertain and Premier League survival looking likely. Adam Underwood is already laying groundwork for potential sales and arrivals.

According to Africa Foot, Charleroi’s Yassine Titraoui is on Leeds’ radar as a possible successor to Ampadu.

Ampadu has entered the final 18 months of his Elland Road deal. He appears settled, yet that contract position could attract suitors and force difficult decisions if major investment requires outgoings.

Titraoui, 22, has impressed in Belgium with four goals, two big chances created and strong defensive numbers, while his ambition to play in the Premier League is clear. He has recently joined an agency that specialises in moves to England.

Charleroi are unlikely to sell cheaply, with a 25% sell-on clause in play. If a deal can be struck he could be an exciting addition, but he would not be a like-for-like Ampadu replacement and would need time to adapt.

Leeds’ midfield depth, including Anton Stach, Ilia Gruev, Ao Tanaka and Sean Longstaff, has been important this season. Stach in particular has been a revelation, giving Daniel Farke extra flexibility.

The 49ers Enterprises are expected to support Farke in the market if top-flight status is retained, helping navigate a complex window. Even so, the priority will surely be trying to extend Ampadu before looking elsewhere.

Recent home form offers optimism and potential additions could push Leeds on, provided survival is secured. Relegation, and Leeds fans can forget seeing Ampadu lead the side.
