According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Leeds United are already active in the summer window, with interest in a small pool of targets that includes free agent Julian Brandt, and contract talks ongoing with Karl Darlow.
The window has been open for almost one week and much business is expected after the World Cup. Chairman Paraag Marathe has said there will be sales. Interest is also gathering in some of Daniel Farke's fringe players.
The experienced goalkeeper Darlow is currently due to leave as a free agent, but Leeds remain in negotiations over a new deal. There is outside interest, with Manchester United among possible suitors.
Leeds confirmed earlier this month that Illan Meslier has left following the expiry of his contract, ending seven years in West Yorkshire.
Sebastiaan Bornauw has been linked with FC Koln as they seek defensive experience. It is uncertain whether the Belgian wants to go or if Leeds would sanction a move.
Pascal Struijk is into the final year of his deal so Leeds must either extend or sell. Daniel Farke would prefer to extend, but there will be interest this summer either way.
Willy Gnonto has attracted a transfer enquiry from Bundesliga side Freiburg, The Athletic reported in May. A decision is pending on the winger, who has not played anywhere near as much as he would like.
Largie Ramazani impressed in spells on loan at Valencia, but lines over his future have been conflicting. For now, nothing concrete has emerged.
