Leeds United return to Elland Road for more Premier League action on Sunday, welcoming Crystal Palace to West Yorkshire six days after a dominant display against Newcastle United.

The Whites produced an emphatic performance against the Magpies, with a rampaging first-half showing setting the foundations for a memorable 4-1 victory.

Ao Tanaka opened the scoring after his effort forced an own goal from Lewis Miley, before Dominic Calvert-Lewin doubled the advantage shortly before the interval. His first was initially awarded to Jayden Bogle on the day, but was later credited to our number 9.

Noah Okafor added the finishing touch to an impressive afternoon in the second period, unleashing a thunderous half-volley to put Leeds firmly in control.

Thanks to the victory over Matthias Jaissle’s side, Daniel Farke’s men maintained their unbeaten start to the Premier League campaign and climbed to third in the early-season standings.

Sunday’s visitors, meanwhile, have endured a more challenging opening to the campaign, collecting just one league victory from their opening four matches and suffering three defeats.

The South London outfit did enjoy a midweek boost in Europe, recording a convincing 4-0 victory over Lech Poznań in the Europa League. That result followed a disappointing Premier League outing at Selhurst Park, where they were beaten 3-2 by newly-promoted Ipswich Town.

Last season, Leeds enjoyed the better of the results, collecting four points. Most recently, Daniel Farke's side earned a point from a goalless draw on the road following an enjoyable 4-1 victory at Elland Road the December prior.

On that occasion, Dominic Calvert-Lewin struck twice, while Ethan Ampadu added a rare goal of his own before Anton Stach completed the scoring deep into stoppage time.

Pierre Sage’s side currently sit 16th in the Premier League table, five points behind the Whites as they prepare to make the trip to West Yorkshire.

Speaking exclusively to Premier League Studios, Justin said: “Obviously, we know we have got an advantage at Elland Road. We have the 12th man behind us and it does give you that extra few per cent that you might need to get to the ball that is a yard away or in a 50/50. We know the crowd love it and we love doing the dirty work as well.

"Hopefully we can go into it with the confidence that we showed on Monday night.”

In his pre-match press conference, Daniel Farke announced that while Ilia Gruev will be available for selection against Palace, Harry Wilson has sustained a quad injury and will be sidelined for the game. Joe Rodon also remains unavailable for selection.

Stadium redevelopment updates:

Due to the redevelopment of the West Stand at Elland Road, there will be a significant change to the way West Stand ticket holders will access the stadium on matchdays throughout the 2026/27 season.

The main West Stand Gate on Elland Road (next to Howard’s) will now be the main access point for away fans only. This will also be the only access point for home supporters with tickets in areas C15, C16 & C17 when an away team fails to sell their full allocation and supporters with designated accessible tickets in the South Stand Lower area FA6. No other supporters will be able to access the West Stand via this route.

All general admission West Stand ticket holders (with the exception of the above) will enter through Entrances 4, 5, and 6. You can access these areas via Gate 4 from Lowfields Road (North East Corner), Gate 2 on Bobby Collins Way (behind the North Stand), or Gate 1 from Bobby Collins Way (North West Corner). Jayden Bogle (£4.5m) was the second highest scoring player in Gameweek 4. The defender registered 15-points from a goal (that still counted), a clean sheet and all three bonus points. Bogle was substituted on 82 minutes, ahead of the Newcastle goal, therefore he still registered the clean sheet points.
