Leeds United can turn to the 2026/27 Premier League after their fixtures were released. They start at Nottingham Forest on the weekend of 22/23 August, with Brentford the first visitors to Elland Road a week later.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, five dates stand out for the Whites faithful across the campaign.

Saturday 17 October brings Manchester United to Elland Road, fixture seven. Last season the rivals did not meet until 4 January, gameweek 20, when it finished 1-1 after Leeds had already faced Liverpool home and away.

Boxing Day sends Leeds to Aston Villa, where they also drew 1-1 in February. Supporters will remember December 2018 in the Midlands, when Marcelo Bielsa’s side came from 2-0 down to win 3-2 with Kemar Roofe’s late clincher.

It is a swift turnaround on 30 December with another away day at Hull City. The MKM Stadium outing is their first Premier League Yorkshire derby since a 2-1 win over Sheffield United in April 2021.

On 15 May Leeds go to Old Trafford. Their 45-year wait for a top-flight win there ended in April, when Noah Okafor scored twice in a result that helped secure survival.

The season concludes on 30 May at Crystal Palace. Fans will hope little rides on it, though Sunderland showed last season that a final day can still decide European places, and there is appetite at Elland Road to keep climbing.
