Leeds United and Adidas have unveiled a retro-inspired 2026/27 away shirt in traditional yellow with night navy and white trim. It restores the trefoil Adidas mark and the Yorkshire Rose crest used between 1984 and 1998, synonymous with the 1991/92 title winners, which the club call a 'historic first' for the partnership.

It begins year seven with Adidas and a second straight Premier League campaign after Daniel Farke’s side finished 14th last season. For the first time, a long-sleeve version will be sold, a benefit of Adidas’ elite tier including Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.

A launch film set in the Yorkshire Dales and narrated by Lucas Radebe salutes the lengths supporters go to follow the club.

The previous yellow away strip, released before the 2024/25 Championship title win, broke records with more than 15,000 sold in the first 24 hours. Its 1970s smiley badge and bold yellow became symbols of promotion and the bus parade.

Leeds are due to showcase the new kit in the USA next month after the 2026 World Cup. They face Wrexham in Tampa on July 25, then Liverpool in New Jersey five days later, before Sunderland in Chicago on August two.

An Elland Road friendly with RB Leipzig is expected on the weekend of August eight/nine, before Manchester United in Dublin. The 2026/27 Premier League season begins on the weekend of August 22/23, and the away kit is on sale now via the club, Adidas and selected JD stores.
