Gunners are without a win in three Premier League games
Arsenal will look to get back on track in the Premier League when they face Leeds at the weekend.
The Gunners have stumbled in the title race of late, failing to win any of their previous three games and slumped to a disappointing defeat at home to Manchester United last weekend.
As a result, Arsenal’s lead at the summit has been cut to four points.
Though playing before Manchester City and Aston Villa in this gameweek does at least give Mikel Arteta’s side the chance to open up a seven point gap at the top of the table - albeit potentially for 24 hours or so.
Arsenal should be full of confidence after beating Kairat to top the Champions League table with a perfect winning record in the league phase but are facing a Leeds side in good form themselves.
Daniel Farke’s side have lost just once in their last 11 games across all competitions, a run that includes a win over Chelsea and draws with Liverpool.
Leeds vs Arsenal is scheduled for a 3pm GMT kick-off on Saturday, January 31, 2026.
The match will take place at Elland Road.
TV channel: In the UK, the game will not be televised live as it lands during the 3pm Saturday blackout.
Live coverage: You can follow all the action on matchday via Standard Sport’s live blog, with expert analysis from Matt Verri at the ground.
Free highlights: The Sky Sports app and YouTube channel will show highlights from 5.15pm GMT with Match of the Day broadcasting on BBC One at 10.25pm.
The home side are expected to be without Dan James and Jaka Bijol for the visit of the Gunners, while Gabriel Gudmundsson is a doubt after missing Monday’s draw against Everton.
Facundo Buonanotte, formerly on loan at Chelsea, is in line to make his home bow for Leeds after making his debut as a substitute against the Toffees.
For Arsenal, Mikel Arteta will hope to welcome William Saliba and Jurrien Timber back after the defensive pair sat out the 3-2 win over Kairat with “niggles”.
David Raya, Gabriel, Bukayo Saka, Martin Zubimendi and Leandro Trossard were all given the night off on Wednesday so should return to the starting XI at Elland Road.
Kai Havertz has presented the Gunners boss with a selection headache after his impressive showing in the Champions League, though Viktor Gyokeres did score in that match.

Arsenal away from the Premier League grind seem to be a totally different proposition, but after three games without a win and no goals from open play, the pressure is on to get all three points here.
Leeds are on a good run at home and will fancy their chances of making things difficult for the Gunners, but we expect the visitors to battle their way to a crucial win.
Arsenal to win, 2-1.
Arsenal thumped Leeds 5-0 in the reverse fixture at the Emirates Stadium earlier in the season with Gyokeres grabbing his first goals for the club.
Gunners have not lost to Leeds since that infamous game at Highbury in May 2003 which handed the Premier League title to Manchester United.
Leeds wins: 41
Arsenal wins: 54
Draws: 33
Leeds to win: 9/2
Arsenal to win: 1/2
