The English Football League will publish 2026/27 fixtures at midday on Thursday, 25 June, with Leicester City awaiting schedules across three competitions.

Leicester drop into the third tier after relegation from the Championship, only the second such season in the club’s history. In 2008/09, Nigel Pearson oversaw a record campaign that delivered immediate promotion.

City will also return to the Vertu Trophy, previously the Football League Trophy, for the first time since November 2008. They will face three teams in a group stage.

Broadcast selections are set in advance, and the opening weekend of League One will be shown live on Sky Sports and Sky Sports+. Kick-off times for those televised games will be confirmed alongside the fixture release.
