WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Foxes this afternoon.
PSV have reportedly paid an undisclosed fee to secure Cayman’s services on a permanent basis.
The 37-year-old moves to The Netherlands after spending the last two-and-a-half years with Leicester City. Cayman made 66 appearances for Leicester City in all competitions, helping the club to further establish themselves in the Barclays Women’s Super League.
The time has come for the player to take up a new challenge by joining a PSV side that are just three points off the league summit in this season’s Eurojackpot Vrouwen Eredivisie.
Joining PSV, Cayman told the club’s official media team “It is an honour to be able to play for PSV. There was mutual interest and then things can go very quickly. I think I add a lot of experience to the selection and can help young players. Just like PSV, I have big ambitions; I want to play European football and fight for the championship.”
Further incomings and outgoings are likely at Leicester City before the transfer window closes at the end of the month.
