The Foxes Trust says Leicester City needs a complete reset after back-to-back relegations left the club in League One for the second time in 142 years. The drop followed Premier League relegation 12 months earlier. The group has published its 2026 End of Season Survey, based on 4,413 responses.
The club said in a statement that it acknowledges the findings and remains committed to dialogue with supporters and groups, including the Foxes Trust, as it develops its Fan Engagement Plan. Engagement will continue through the summer and into the new season.
The Trust’s priorities are the departure of Jon Rudkin, a reset of the Fan Engagement Framework, reduced ticket prices, clear communication of a credible five-year plan, and consultation with fans on matchday experience.
The survey found 93% dissatisfied with Rudkin’s promotion to chief football officer after his time as director of football. A further 92% lack confidence in the club’s financial future and 91% say player recruitment has been poor.
Another 94% say player contract and wage management has been poor, while 82% feel disconnected. Chair Lynn Wyeth called for change from top to bottom to start rebuilding, and voiced disbelief at Rudkin’s promotion given three relegations in four years and multiple spending breaches.
She said there had been no substantive communications since relegation was confirmed on 21st April. The Trust has shared the survey in full with the club, along with its five actions, and hopes this time it is heard.
