Leicester City sign BK Häcken forward Nyström | OneFootball

Leicester City have completed the signing of BK Häcken forward Paulina Nyström on a permanent deal.

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Foxes earlier today.

Leicester City have paid an undisclosed fee to BK Häcken to secure the player’s services on a permanent basis. Nyström has signed a two-year deal at The King Power Stadium.

The 25-year-old joins Leicester City after spending the last two years playing her football in the Swedish OBOS Damallsvenskan. The forward won the league title and the UEFA Women’s Europa Cup with BK Häcken.

On the international stage, Nyström has been capped by Finland on six occasions while she has scored one goal for her country.

After signing for Leicester City, Nyström said “Leicester is an amazing Club and it’s an honour to be here. This will be a fun adventure, and I hope to contribute with the things I’m good at.

“I play with a lot of power, and I will try to bring that as much as possible. I have a lot of experience and want to perform well to help the team.”

Nyström is Leicester City’s sixth signing of the summer transfer window.
