In addition to her time with FC Rosengård, Jansson has enjoyed two spells with Hammarby IF while she has also represented Eskilstuna United DFF and KIF Orebro in her career to date.

After joining Leicester City, Jansson said “I am really honoured and excited to start my journey here. I am looking forward to meeting the fans and playing at King Power Stadium.

“I will always bring my everything to the club I’m playing for, so the supporters can expect that from me. The WSL is a great league and where all players want to play. I am happy to be here and happy to be with Leicester.”

Jansson is Leicester City’s first signing of the January transfer window. The club could be very active in the transfer market this month with further recruitment expected to be completed.
