Eddie started out in the Central Ladies Academy before briefly joining Rangers for an initial spell. She then spent six years with Hibernian before returning to the Ibrox club in 2024.

On the international stage, Eddie has been capped by Scotland on six occasions at senior level.

After joining Leicester City, Eddie said “I’m really excited to get started. I had a lot of conversations with the Club; I’ve seen the facilities and the way that they are looking to push next season and that’s something I’d love to be a part of.

“I’ve played in the Scottish league for a long time, and I really enjoyed my time there but I’m looking for something new and there’s no better place to come and try that.

“It’s a really nice stadium. It’s obviously a huge club to be a part of and hopefully when we’re playing here, we’ll get some good results.

“When I moved to Rangers, I won the first two cups of my career so I will be looking to use that experience to try and win more cups and get promoted.”

Eddie is Leicester City’s first signing of the summer transfer window.
