Leicester City have completed the permanent signing of former Tottenham Hotspur defender Asmita Ale on a three-year deal.

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Foxes this afternoon.

The player will now be looking to kick on with her career in the East Midlands after joining Leicester City on a permanent basis.

After sealing her permanent move to The King Power Stadium, Ale said “I am super-pleased to be staying at the Club and it was an easy decision for me. There is so much opportunity to keep growing here and game-time is important at my age.

“I am already looking forward to next season. I can’t wait to be back out there with the team and show the fans what I can do. The Club is constantly growing, we have great ambition and I want to be part of that journey.”

Ale becomes Leicester City’s first signing of the summer transfer window.
