The 38-year-old forward returns to the club where she started out in her youth 26 years ago. Williams broke into the first team at Leicester City and she is now set to begin her third spell with her hometown club.

On the international stage, Williams has turned out for both England and Great Britain earlier in her career.
After sealing her Leicester City return, Williams said “I started my career here and I’ve always said I’d like to come back. Leicester is my hometown, I absolutely love Leicester and have always followed the Foxes.
“I feel like I still have a lot to offer for the Club, and the opportunity to come back is something I’ve been looking forward to doing.”
Williams could make her Leicester City debut in the Adobe Women’s FA Cup fourth round tie against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
