Leicester City will learn their 26-27 fixtures at midday on Thursday, 25 June, the EFL have confirmed. Championship and League One lists will be published that day.
City’s divisional status remains undecided, but the schedule release is set for the same time whether they stay in the Championship or drop to League One.
The league campaign begins across all three EFL divisions on the weekend of 14-16 August, though it will not be the season’s first action.
The Carabao Cup first round opens the campaign over the weekend of 7-9 August. The draw for the competition will also take place on fixture release day.
If City stay up, they will have a first league meeting with Lincoln City since 1957, after the Imps won promotion from League One.
If they are relegated, they could face a first-ever meeting with Bromley, who lead League Two and are on course for promotion to the third tier.
