Leicester City's EFL squad for 2026/27 has been finalised after the summer window, with Wout Faes and Woyo Coulibaly both included. The pair were available to leave but remain eligible for Russell Martin in League One.

According to LeicesterMercury.co.uk, clubs may register 25 senior players and do not need to list under-21s. City named only 15, fewer than any Championship side and 22 League One clubs, and confirmed 31 under-21s including Under-18s Bless Akolbire, Will Daniels, Alpha Diallo and Josh King.

Faes saw a bid rejected earlier in the summer, then West Ham United pulled out of a deadline day move for the centre-back. Coulibaly was close to a loan to Genoa, only for it to fall through late in the window.

Faes could still depart, with transfer windows in countries such as Greece and Portugal open until 15 September. Leicester added two centre-backs in the summer, taking the number to six, with Ben Nelson out for the majority of the season.

City also profit from a youthful core, with several regular starters exempt from registration, including Will Alves, Harry Howell, Jayden Joseph, Tommy Watson and Christian McFarlane.

Registered senior squad: Sammy Braybrooke, Admir Bristric, Wes Burns, Conor Chaplin, Woyo Coulibaly, Liam Cullen, Wout Faes, Emil Riis, John Lundstram, Ben Nelson, Warren O'Hora, Bobby Reid, Caleb Okoli, Harry Souttar, Luke Thomas.
