Caleb Okoli will miss Leicester City's trip to MK Dons on Saturday, while Bade Aluko faces a late assessment, Russell Martin said.

According to LeicesterMercury.co.uk, Okoli sat out Tuesday's Carabao Cup defeat at Ipswich Town with an injury after starting the first three matches in all competitions.

Aluko and Luke Thomas started at centre-back and were praised against Premier League opponents. Aluko equalised with his first senior goal before being forced off after earlier treatment.

Martin explained that Aluko has been monitored through the week after a knock at Ipswich and will be checked again before kick-off. He added that Woyo Coulibaly cramped late on due to limited recent game time, but impressed for the team.

The manager said nothing has changed on Okoli, who remains unavailable. Ilari Kangasniemi's arrival has eased the shortage at the back, although options are still restricted.

Conor Chaplin and Jayden Joseph, who returned on Tuesday, are ready to start, though their minutes may be managed across a three-game week. Martin said tomorrow's match is the main focus, but physical demands could prompt changes, and the squad are ready.
