Leipzig sweating on fitness of Brajan Gruda and Conrad Harder

RB Leipzig face Borussia Mönchengladbach at home on Saturday with doubts over Brajan Gruda and Conrad Harder.

Gruda, who missed last week’s 2-1 win over Werder Bremen with muscular problems, is due to rejoin team training on Friday. The club said on Thursday that his availability will be decided after that session.

Danish striker Harder skipped Thursday’s training with a thigh issue and is a major doubt for the match.

Castello Lukeba will miss out with an adductor injury. Suleman Sani, Leopold Zingerle and Viggo Gebel remain sidelined with hip, wrist and cruciate ligament injuries respectively.

The game comes too soon for Peter Gulacsi despite his involvement in large parts of team training. Maarten Vandevoordt will start in goal again.
