Lelê is a doubt for Corinthians’ Campeonato Brasileiro Feminino opener after a head clash in their Supercopa do Brasil Feminina defeat to Palmeiras on penalties. According to Meu Timao, she left the stadium on foot without assistance.

The incident came on 16 minutes of the first half, during a quick Palmeiras attack as Bia Zaneratto challenged the goalkeeper for the ball. Lelê took a knee to the head, received treatment and was replaced under the concussion protocol by Nicole Ramos.

With the protocol applied, both teams were granted an additional substitution. Lelê will be kept out of training for five days, and the club must present detailed examinations showing no symptoms, along with a medical report on the treatment undertaken.

She may therefore not be available to Lucas Piccinato for the match against Atlético-MG next Friday at Arena MRV, the side’s Brasileiro opener. If she is absent, Nicole Ramos would likely start in goal.

Corinthians have encountered similar issues recently. In 2024 Vic Albuquerque sustained a concussion in the Libertadores and missed the first phase of the tournament, while Letícia Teles and Letícia Monteiro were sidelined during the 2025 Copa do Brasil.
