Lenka Mazuchova strengthens FC Porto women's attack

FC Porto have signed Slovakia international Lenka Mazuchova, a 21-year-old left winger. The club said in a statement that she strengthens Daniel Chaves's squad.

She joins from Austrian side Sturm Graz.

She said wearing the FC Porto shirt means a lot to her and she is eager to play. The opportunity arose in December and she briefly wondered if she would really move to Portugal.

She called the decision easy, describing Portugal as welcoming like Slovakia, and accepted quickly.

Set to wear number 77, she wants to help FC Porto win promotion to the first division and says she is quick and likes one-on-ones.
