Lens lifted the Coupe de France on Friday night, beating Nice 3-1 at the Stade de France to become the 35th name on the trophy.

It came at the fourth attempt after final defeats in 1948, 1975 and 1998. According to L'Équipe, the success moves the Sang et Or alongside 13 other clubs with a single win in the competition.

PSG remain out in front with 16 titles, with half secured since the QSI takeover. Marseille are next on 10.

Lille and Saint-Étienne complete the podium with six apiece.

Monaco, Lyon, RC Paris and Red Star have five. Auxerre, Bordeaux and Nantes have four. Nice, Rennes and Strasbourg have three.

Two-time winners are CA Sports généraux, Guingamp, Metz, Montpellier, Reims, Sedan, Sète and Sochaux.

Other one-time winners include Bastia, Cannes, CA Paris, Club français, Lorient, Le Havre, AS Nancy, EF Nancy, Olympique de Paris, Roubaix, Toulouse FC and Toulouse.

The original Toulouse FC folded after a 1967 merger with Red Star Olympique, and the current Toulouse were founded in 1970 as US Toulouse.
