Lens close to €10m deal to sign Junior Kadile from Servette FC

RC Lens are closing on a €10m deal to sign Servette FC winger Junior Kadile, according to Foot Mercato. The Artois side were in the market for a winger to bring competition to both Abdallah Sima and Florian Thauvin. Lens also had needed to replace Allan Saint-Maximin. 20-year-old Rayan Fofana is also poised to leave Stade Bollaert-Delelis before the end of the summer transfer window. The 23-year-old Kadile has caught the eye of several European clubs in logging 12 goals and 17 assists in 40 games with Servette FC.

Foot Mercato adds that promoted Premier League side Hull City FC were also in the race to sign Kadile. The latter is already in Lens to complete the formalities for a transfer. Les Sang et Or and Servette FC have reached an agreement in principle over a €10m deal. RC Lens play RC Strasbourg away on Saturday.
