Lens, aware of Danso’s imminent departure, have already started the search for a replacement.

According to Foot Mercato, the French side have set their sights on Teden Mengi, currently playing for Luton Town, and have already started to test the waters for a possible transfer.

Roma have formalized an initial offer of 22 million euros, but Lens requires at least 25 million euros to release the Austrian defender.

Despite this minimal difference, the parties appear to be very close to a definitive agreement, and significant developments are expected soon.
