RC Lens want to keep Manchester City loanee Juma Bah (19) for another season, according to a report from Foot Mercato.

Bah joined Lens at the same time as Abdukodir Khusanov made the move from the Bollaert to the Etihad. Since joining, the Sierra Leone centre-back has made eight appearances. He has impressed Will Still and the hierarchy at Lens to the extent that they wish to keep him for a further season.

He joined on a six-month loan deal, however, upon the agreement of that deal, a one-year extension had already been evoked. Lens’ sporting director, Diego Lopez, was recently spotted in Manchester and Foot Mercato understands that he was discussing extending Bah’s loan with the Manchester City hierarchy.

Not only that, Lopez also took the opportunity to test the waters to see if it would also be possible to take one or two other Manchester City youngsters on loan for the 2025/26 campaign.
