According to Globo.com, Remo have dismissed head coach Léo Condé on Tuesday, a day after a 2-1 defeat at Bahia at Fonte Nova that closed the 27th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro. The decision makes him the 17th managerial dismissal of the 2026 Brasileirão.

Condé oversaw 31 matches across six months, recording eight wins, eight draws and 15 defeats, a 34.4% return.

The Bahia loss was Remo’s fourth straight in the league. They sit 19th in the table and in the relegation zone, and are winless in their last seven league games, with two draws and five defeats.

Across all competitions, the run stretches to nine without a victory, counting the two round-of-16 ties with Santos in the Copa do Brasil, which resulted in Remo’s elimination.

Under Condé, Remo were runners-up in the Pará state championship, losing the final to Paysandu, and went out in the first phase of the Copa Verde.
