Léo Jabá doping suspension reinstated, São Bernardo stand him down | OneFootball

Léo Jabá’s doping suspension has been reinstated and is now in force until 16 March 2029. São Bernardo have stood the forward down from all club activities.

According to Globo.com, about two weeks ago the Tribunal de Justiça Desportiva Antidopagem, TJD-AD, lodged an appeal that was upheld, restoring the ban.

The former Corinthians prospect tested positive for norandrosterna and noretiocolanolona after São Bernardo’s meeting with Corinthians in the eighth round of the Campeonato Paulista in early 2025. He received a four-year suspension in March last year.

In August this year he won an appeal that cleared him to return to professional football, and he featured in six Série B do Campeonato Brasileiro matches for São Bernardo.

São Bernardo were caught by surprise by the decision. On Sunday he turned out for Jardim Verônia in the Super Copa Pioneer final, and his team won 1-0 to claim the trophy.
