Serie D restarts as the second half of the season begins. And with it, 2026 kicks off, with Milan Futuro playing their first match of the new year. The game is away at Leon, scheduled for Sunday 4 January at 14:30 CET at the Leon Arena in Vimercate. In Brianza, the side face an important and challenging test, with precious points at stake as they aim to start the second half of the season on the right foot.

LATEST FROM MILAN FUTURO Coach Oddo’s side experienced a difficult 2-2 draw in Voghera, a half-missed opportunity in terms of results, even if achieved on a tricky pitch, but always levelling the score, showing presence and spirit. Their campaign is pushing them towards the top end of the table, a positive run which included victories over Real Calepina (1-0), Varesina (2-1) and Castellanzese (3-1), with no defeats since the end of November. The Rossoneri, on 28 points, currently sit sixth, just seven off the top, eager to improve and make their mark during the remainder of the season. Attention will be needed against a strong and in-form opponent.

LATEST FROM LEON Memushaj's Leon are not behaving like a newly promoted side, playing attacking football and generally maintaining a strong level of performance. The Vimercatesi sit in the group just behind the Rossoneri, not far from the play-off zone. In the first meeting they managed a comeback draw from 2-0 to 2-2; more recently they defeated Chievo in style, away in Verona (2-0), and before the break they earned a respectable 0-0 draw against Casatese Merate. Leon boast the best defence in the league with just 14 goals conceded and can count on the group’s joint-top scorer thanks to striker Bonseri, who has netted eight times.
