Leonardo Jardim sets new rule at Flamengo

According to Coluna Do Fla, new head coach Leonardo Jardim has introduced a stricter pre-match regime at Flamengo, including a ban on mobile phones in the dressing room before games and a pre-match camp policy.

The rules will apply before the Campeonato Carioca final this Sunday, when Flamengo face Fluminense at the Maracanã, kick-off 18:00 Brasília time.

The Portuguese coach also favours staying together on the eve of home fixtures, and the expectation is that the squad will sleep at CT Ninho do Urubu on Saturday.

The final is a one-off. The winners on Sunday will be state champions, and if it is level the title will be decided on penalties.

The clássico will be shown on Globo free to air, on SporTV, on Premiere pay-per-view and on GE TV, with Fluminense the designated home team.
