Leonardo Jardim unsure over Lucas Paquetá and Erick Pulgar return at Flamengo

Leonardo Jardim says Lucas Paquetá and Erick Pulgar remain sidelined at Flamengo, and he is unsure when they will return. Neither player has rejoined full training, and recovery could take about a week to 10 days.

According to Coluna Do Fla, he spoke after the Flamengo v Vasco draw.

Paquetá sustained a muscle injury in the match against Bahia in the Campeonato Brasileiro. He has been undergoing treatment since, aiming to return as soon as possible.

Pulgar suffered a right shoulder injury against Red Bull Bragantino after the FIFA break. In his absence, Evertton Araújo has started alongside Jorginho.

Flamengo are back in action on Thursday against Independiente Medellín in the fourth round of the Libertadores. Kick-off is at 21:30 Brasília time in Colombia.
