Letícia Teles joins Al Qadsiah as Corinthians seal club-record sale | OneFootball

Corinthians have confirmed the departure of defender Letícia Teles to Saudi side Al Qadsiah after a brief spell at Parque São Jorge. The 26-year-old arrived from Red Bull Bragantino at the start of 2025, played 39 matches and lifted the 2025 Brasileiro and Libertadores.

According to Meu Timao, Al Qadsiah will pay between $600,000 and $800,000, approximately R$3.1 to R$4.1 million, making Teles the second most expensive outgoing in Brazilian women’s football. The fee sets a Corinthians record, surpassing Tarciane at R$2.5 million and Daniela Arias at R$850,000.

Signed to reinforce a depleted back line after Tarciane left for Houston Dash in April of the previous year, Teles was joined by centre-back Thaís Regina, with Dani Arias later moving to the United States too. She earned regular starts, helped by Lucas Piccinato’s three-centre-back system and her left-footed profile.

In the 2025 Brasileiro she featured in five games, starting against Juventude, América Mineiro and Bahia in the quarter-finals, with Corinthians winning all five and conceding once. Her Libertadores involvement was limited to the 11-0 victory over Always Ready.

This year she started both Copa das Campeãs matches against Kansas City Current and Arsenal, and the Supercopa do Brasil clássico with Palmeiras, with Corinthians finishing runners-up in both competitions. Overall she recorded 30 wins, four draws and five defeats, made 31 starts, and scored once against Chicago Red Stars in the 2025 Teal Rising Cup. She also registered one assist.
