Levante have agreed a loan for Axel Tape with Bayern Leverkusen as the window enters its final days, according to Superdeporte.

The move will be a straightforward loan from the German club.

Tape, 19, is a defender who can operate in the centre or at full-back, and he can also play as a holding midfielder.

His arrival follows the recent addition of Ifeanyi Ndukwe in defence, with Aissa Mandi and Manu Sánchez brought in at the start of pre-season.

In midfield, Luís Castro’s side have added Hugo Sotelo and Enzo Bardeli this summer.
