Levante close loan for Ifeanyi Ndukwe from Liverpool | OneFootball

Levante have finalised a loan for Liverpool’s 18-year-old centre-back Ifeanyi Ndukwe, pending official confirmation, with the move set for the Ciutat de València. Liverpool signed the Austrian this summer from Austria Vienna for three million euros.

According to Sky Sports, Ndukwe is due to arrive in Orriols tomorrow.

If Luís Castro deems him ready and the club resolve registration issues, he could make his first appearance on Monday at El Sadar against CA Osasuna.

He would be the fifth loanee of the window after the loans of Hugo Sotelo and Manu Sánchez from Celta de Vigo, and Dani Requena and Thiago Fernández from Villarreal.

Known for his imposing frame and long stride, he regularly wins duels and is comfortable in physical battles. Ambidextrous, he can operate on either side of central defence in possession.

Levante still need to register four new signings on LaLiga’s official website. Castro has begun preparations at the training ground this afternoon with Ndukwe’s arrival on the horizon.
