Two German top flight sides in Bayer Leverkusen and SC Freiburg are reportedly monitoring the Malian.

A left-sided midfielder by trade, Nene scored 13 goals and provided 4 assists in 30 appearances for RB Salzburg last season.

However, the Bundesliga clubs are not alone in the pursuit of the talented 22-year-old who is valued at €12million by Transfermarkt.com.

UEFA Europa League winners Tottenham Hotspur are also keeping tabs, meanwhile Serie A outfit Lazio are similarly interested.

The Austrian Bundesliga club insists they have not received and offer or inquiry of any kind yet, but they have a desired transfer fee in mind.
