Bild reports that Bayer Leverkusen are in advanced talks to re-sign Moussa Diaby, three years after he left for Aston Villa.
The discussions are said to be led by managing director for sport Simon Rolfes. Diaby now plays for Al Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League.

The winger is understood to be open to a return, with a fee of under €30 million being discussed.
He is also reportedly prepared to sacrifice a significant portion of his wages, believed to be more than €10 million net per year, to facilitate the move.
Diaby registered 49 goals and 47 assists in 172 appearances for Leverkusen between 2019 and 2023.
