Leverkusen ‘in talks’ for Lyon winger Afonso Moreira

Bayer Leverkusen are weighing up attacking options and are considering Lyon winger Afonso Moreira, according to FußballTransfers.com.

The Rhineland club are also believed to be in talks with Lyon over the winger. He caught the eye in the 2025-26 Ligue 1 season.

He made 37 appearances in all competitions last term, returning eight goals and 11 assists.

Moreira joined Lyon a year ago from Sporting Lisbon’s reserve team for €two million.

Manchester United and Atlético Madrid are also interested. According to Transfermarkt, the 21-year-old is valued at €20 million.
