Jonas Omlin is set for a Bayer Leverkusen medical on Monday as the club move to replace the injured Mark Flekken, according to BuLi News.

The Borussia Mönchengladbach goalkeeper had been linked with Sunderland over the weekend, but Leverkusen have moved quickly to bring in the Swiss international as Flekken's replacement.

Flekken faces months out with a knee ligament injury. Janis Blaswich, who like Flekken joined in the summer, has been in goal since the starter went off at the hour mark in the defeat to Hoffenheim.

Omlin made an immediate impact at Gladbach after arriving from Montpellier three years ago. He was named captain at the start of his first full season, but a run of injuries curtailed his involvement.

He has made 34 Bundesliga appearances, none of them this season.
