Manchester City will clash heads with Porto at the Estadio do Dragao this Tuesday night as they look to secure a win in the UEFA Champions League. The Mancunian giants managed to secure a narrow 1-0 win over Coventry City recently, which should keep them in good spirits going into this game.
Enzo Maresca will opt for the 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make a few changes to his first team for this clash. Rico Lewis, Nico O’Reilly and Phil Foden could all play from the start of this game.
Gianluigi Donnarumma will operate in between the sticks for Man City after keeping a clean sheet in his last outing. Ruben Dias will continue to function alongside Marc Guehi at the centre of Maresca’s defence as they look to keep a good shape on the defensive end of the field.
Rico Lewis will fill in as the right-back, while Josko Gvardiol hopes to prove his worth on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will get the freedom to go forward and express themselves inside the opponent’s half.
Abdukodir Khusanov will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Nico O’Reilly and Elliot Anderson will anchor the midfield for Man City as they try to win the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park and engineer some decent chances in the final third.
The gifted trio of Phil Foden, Rayan Cherki and Antoine Semenyo will operate just ahead of them as part of the Man City attack. All three of them need to be at their best if the Mancunian club are to secure a victory at the Estadio do Dragao in midweek.
Iliman Ndiaye and Enzo Fernandez will be available for selection on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the second half if required.
Erling Haaland will spearhead Man City‘s attack up top. He managed to score the winning goal against Coventry City, which should give him a ton of confidence ahead of this game.
Ryan McAiddo will have to settle for a spot on the bench as he waits for his chance to make an impact in the latter stages of the game if needed.
