Liam Gallagher drops cryptic Celtic Park hint ahead of five Oasis Glasgow shows | OneFootball

Liam Gallagher has teased that Oasis could have more surprises in store for their huge Celtic Park concerts next summer.

The Britpop giants will bring their Live ’27 tour to Parkhead for five shows on May 21, 23, 25, 28 and 29, marking the first live music events staged at Celtic’s stadium since 1997.

Former Verve frontman Richard Ashcroft has already been confirmed as a support act, but Gallagher has now hinted that further names could be added to the Glasgow bill.

It came after an Oasis fan joked on X about speculation that different venues could receive different support acts, writing: “Watch Glasgow get some sh–e like Gerry Cinnamon or something.”

Gallagher quickly responded: “You just wait, your head’s gonna fall off into your bowl of Irn Bru.”

The typically cryptic response has fuelled speculation over who else could join Oasis at Celtic Park.

Irish band Inhaler have been linked online with the Slane Castle dates, with the Bono-fronted group having previously received praise from Noel Gallagher.

Ashcroft and Cast supported Oasis during their hugely successful 2025 reunion tour, although the latter currently appear unlikely to return for the upcoming run.
