We all knew that new Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior was a real talker and would produce a top first presser, but he’s outdone himself with his introductory effort as Chelsea boss.
The funny this is it’s just previewing an FA Cup game against Charlton, but it of course served as his introduction to the fans and the club. He covered so many topics, so we tried to pick out a few specific things of interest.

On the subject of goalkeepers, Rosenior was asked whether he intended to use his options at Chelsea as he had at Strasbourg – getting his glovesman to join the back four high up the pitch when in possession.
His response was very interesting, putting his cards on the table.
“Every team is different. I’m very fortunate [Filip] Jorgensen and [Robert] Sanchez are world-class goalkeepers with their feet but I’m not going to ask them to play from the halfway line straight away,” the new boss said.
“It’s a process and it takes time.”
Many Chelsea fans remain unhappy with Sanchez as a first option, and with Jorgensen as a backup. It wouldn’t make sense for Rosenior to undermine them, but he certainly took the chance to big them up here. Enzo Maresca basically gave up on them always playing goal kicks short – will Rosenior do the same?
While the new boss was taking his first Chelsea presser, there were rumours spreading about the club’s potential interest in a new central defender option.
Rosenior has only been in the job a few days, but he’s already taken a shine to one person on Chelsea’s books. He’s requested a change to his coaching staff upon his arrival at Stamford Bridge.
