The Blues head into the game on the back of dropping four points in their previous two games against Leeds and Burnley.

It’s vital Chelsea get back to winning ways in the race for Champions League football, and taking points against their rivals would give them a huge boost.

Liam Rosenior shares team news ahead of Arsenal game

Chelsea haven’t beaten Arsenal since 2021, and this will be the fourth meeting between the sides this season following the league game at Stamford Bridge and the Carabao Cup semi final tie.

The Blues will have to be at their best to pick up a result, but have generally tended to perform better in the bigger games.

It’s Rosenior’s toughest test to date in the league, and he’s provided an injury update on six players ahead of the game.

“Reece is absolutely fine,” he told his pre-match press conference.

“Romeo is getting stronger and stronger. We had a mini practice match in the week where he looked really good.

“Estevao will be out for a little bit longer and Jamie Gittens is progressing in his rehab. Cucu is not available for Sunday. Dario Essugo is back on the training pitch, too.”

Chelseas face PSG in the Champions League

Away from Premier League matters, Chelsea will face PSG in the last 16 of the Champions League, in a repeat of the Club World Cup final.

Chelsea will be rewarded with a quarter final against either Liverpool or Galatasaray if they get past the defending champions.

Rosenior knows PSG well having come up against them during his time as Strasburg boss, and Chelsea will certainly fancy their chances over two legs.
