Chelsea captain Reece James is a doubt to face Leeds due to illness.
James has recovered from the minor injury that forced he to miss last Tuesday’s Carabao Cup defeat at Arsenal and Saturday’s 3-1 at Wolves.
But Liam Rosenior revealed James is “feeling unwell” when he provided an update on his availability for the visit of Leeds to Stamford Bridge on Tuesday.
Rosenior admitted an illness disrupting the camp is still around.
Rosenior said on Monday: "Reece is fit. A small issue, but he’s feeling unwell today.
“It's not a conspiracy, it's true. Hopefully he’ll be well enough to play tomorrow."
Rosenior added: "The staff have been down, my coaching staff, staff around the club.
“Fortunately only Reece from the players is affected at the moment. It’s something we’re just trying to work on at the moment.”
James has stayed injury-free over the past year and Chelsea have been managing his fitness carefully.
Speaking after Saturday’s win at Wolves, Rosenior said James was not struggling with a “major problem” and that his issue was “just a knock”.
“Reece, he's so close and he should be fit for Tuesday,” he said.
“I know I said that today, but honestly, at the moment with the games that we've got, everything is day by day.
“He's really, really close. There's not a major problem at all and it'll be great to have him available for these on Tuesday.”
Rosenior added: “To be honest, Reece was out running yesterday. That just wasn't right and it's not right again. We're still in the midst of a really, really difficult period of games.
“It's just a knock. It's pain management issue. The amount of games that we've got hopefully comes back fully fit, fully rested for Tuesday.”
